Solid hardware, clear instructions

SMARTSTANDARD is okay for basic stuff, but if you want something really solid and quiet, Waving Palms is better. You can feel the difference in the wheel quality.

For longer tracks, they usually come in sections with a connector. It's designed to look seamless though.

I wouldn't, unless it specifically says exterior rated. Most barn door hardware isn't really meant for direct weather exposure unless it's a special finish.
